We feel most at ease when working in kitchens. That doesn’t mean to say we can’t have an impact outside of them too.
When Food For Thought first started, we realised that we need to give young people the tools they need make good choices. It is much bigger than just having good food on their plate. It’s about learning where it comes from and teaching them skills that they will use for life.
Our good food culture means that’s we don’t always need to be the star of the show. We can work within the communities our schools are in and support the local organisations who are already doing great things. We’ll just provide the tasty refreshments.
