Cookery Coaching in Schools
Bringing food education to life – one delicious recipe at a time
Our Cookery Coaching programme is packed with fun, flavour, and real-life learning. Led by Megan and Kerry — both qualified nutritionists with extensive experience — our sessions inspire pupils to explore, create, and enjoy food while building lifelong skills.
Now free for all member schools, sessions are hands-on, engaging, and tailored to suit all ages, learning styles, and settings.
EYFS-Key Stage 2
Fun, Food and Learning for Primary Pupils
Cookery Coaching for EYFS, KS1 and KS2 is all about exploration. We introduce pupils to a wide range of ingredients, build practical cooking skills and inspire curiosity about the food on their plate.
Our recipes include favourites such as Super Stuffed Pepper Boats, Summer Garden Orzo and Ethiopian Okra and Salmon, alongside many more exciting, age-appropriate dishes. Member schools can access the full recipe collection in the ‘Resources for Schools’ tab at the top of this page or by clicking here.
Sessions are designed to support learning across the curriculum, including PSHE, Science, Design and Technology, and Geography. We tailor every session to meet the needs of your school, whether that’s accommodating allergies and dietary requirements, working with large groups, or linking activities to themed curriculum weeks.
We provide all ingredients and equipment—bringing everything but the kitchen sink!
If you’d like to discuss your school’s requirements, have a question about our Cookery Coach programme, or enquire about booking a session, simply get in touch using the Contact Us form below.
Key Stage 3-4
Food Education That Grows With Them
Our KS3 and KS4 sessions go beyond cooking to explore health, independence, and critical thinking. With tailored content for each year group, we help young people connect food choices with real life.
Tailored Topics for Every Year Group
- Year 7: Introduction to healthy eating, understanding nutrients
- Year 8: Label reading, evaluating food choices, designing meals
- Year 9: Special diets, marketing, nutrition goals
- Year 10: Nutrition science, informed choices, healthy habits
- Year 11: Food in a modern world, long-term wellbeing
Whether decoding food labels or debating food ethics, these sessions empower pupils to take charge of their health — for life.
