Grants and Competitions

We love to give. Our grants and competition programmes allows us to do just that. Open to all member schools, our grant programme enables schools to allocate funds where they are most needed. Our competitions not only cater to schools’ necessities but also encourage a bit of fun. We’ve given away laptops, books, sports kits and even inspired the next generation of young chefs.

The Mike Carden Health and Wellbeing Grant

Established in memory of Food For Thought founder, Mike Carden, the Grants Programme is open to all member schools.
Once a year, schools are invited to apply for grants to enhance the physical, emotional or spiritual wellbeing of pupils and staff.

Our Competitions

We regularly support schools with fun competitions giving away prizes like books, laptops and sports kits.

Previous competitions have included designing a meal for our menus, creating a recipe based on your favourite book and coming up with a meal for your favourite athlete.
