Quorn Mince Cottage Pie
Ingredients

Gravy sauce (see recipe)
Onion – diced 200g
Carrots – diced 200g
Quorn Mince 400g
Potatoes 2kg
Salt pinch
Olive oil For frying
Margarine 60g

Gravy sauce (see recipe)
Onion – diced 1kg
Carrots – diced 1kg
Quorn Mince 2kg
Potatoes 10kg
Salt 1 tbsp
Olive oil For frying
Margarine 300g

Gravy sauce (see recipe)
Onion – diced 2kg
Carrots – diced 2kg
Quorn Mince 4kg
Potatoes 20kg
Salt 2 tbsp
Olive oil For frying
Margarine 600g
Method
- Make the gravy sauce as per the FFT recipe
- In a separate pan add enough olive oil for frying
- Add diced onion and carrot and fry for 10 minutes
- Add the gravy sauce
- Add the Quorn mince
- Simmer for 20 minutes, until the onion and carrot is tender
- Peel the potatoes
- Add to a large saucepan
- Cover with cold water
- Add salt
- Bring to the boil and cook until just tender
- Add margarine
- In a baking dish add the mince and gravy until 2/3 up the side of the dish
- Top with mash
- Bake in the oven at 200˚C until golden on the top and piping hot throughout
