Plain Flour – 300g

Margarine – 150g

Water/Milk – 3-5 tbsp

Salt – To taste

Plain Flour – 1500g

Margarine – 750g

Water/Milk – 200-400ml

Salt – To taste

100 Portions

Plain Flour – 3000g

Margarine – 1500g

Water/Milk – 400-600ml

Salt – To taste


  1. Sieve the flour into a bowl add the salt and the margarine and mix until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs.
  2. Gradually add the liquid a little at a time until the mixture forms a soft dough.
  3. Wrap in clingfilm and leave to rest in the fridge until needed.
