Stewed Apple

Ingredients
  • 10 Portions

    Cooking Apples 2kg

    Sultanas 100g

    Demerara Sugar 40g

    Cinnamon pinch

    Lemon Juice ¼ lemon

    Cooking Apples 10kg

    Sultanas 500g

    Demerara Sugar 200g

    Cinnamon 1 tsp

    Lemon Juice 1 lemon

     

  • 100 Portions

    Cooking Apples 20kg

    Sultanas 1kg

    Demerara Sugar 400g

    Cinnamon 2 tsp

    Lemon Juice 2 lemon

     

Method
  1. Peel, core and ¼ the cooking apples
  2. Add all of the ingredients into a pan
  3. Cook on a low heat for 10 minutes, until the apples are soft – but are not mushy
  4. Serve HOT with custard
